The Federated Research Data Repository (FRDR) is thrilled to announce enhanced ORCID integration! Effortlessly showcase your data publications in ORCID by automatically pushing metadata-rich records to your ORCID profile. This enhanced functionality ensures your ORCID profile stays up to date with accurate and comprehensive information.
You can still create an ORCID account directly through FRDR, and opt to automatically add your name, institutional affiliation and ORCID iD to the author list in any new dataset in FRDR.
With this enhancement, you can take your ORCID integration to the next level. Enable the "Add records to ORCID" option in your Account Settings to automatically send a record of each new data publication to your linked ORCID profile. Previously published datasets can also be added to your ORCID record using the “Send to ORCID” button that appears next to each published dataset in your publication dashboard.
Our ORCID integration is designed to handle embargoed datasets intelligently. A record of your dataset will not be pushed to ORCID until the metadata is indexed for discovery, either when the dataset is approved for publication, or when the embargo is lifted, your choice. Plus, any updates you make to your published datasets in FRDR will automatically be reflected in your ORCID record.

Vous pouvez toujours créer un compte ORCID à partir du DFDR et choisir d’ajouter automatiquement votre nom, votre affiliation institutionnelle et votre identifiant ORCID à la liste des autrices et auteurs de tout nouveau jeu de données du DFDR.
Grâce à cette amélioration, vous pouvez faire passer votre intégration ORCID au niveau supérieur. Activez l’option « Ajouter des enregistrements à ORCID » dans les paramètres de votre compte pour envoyer automatiquement un enregistrement de chaque nouvelle publication de données à votre profil ORCID associé. Les jeux de données déjà publiés peuvent également être ajoutés à votre enregistrement ORCID à l’aide du bouton « Envoyer à ORCID » qui apparaît à côté de chaque jeu de données publié dans votre tableau de bord des publications.
Notre intégration ORCID est conçue pour gérer intelligemment les jeux de données sous embargo. Les enregistrements ne seront envoyés à ORCID qu’une fois les métadonnées indexées aux fins de découverte, soit lorsque le jeu de données est approuvé pour la publication, soit lorsque l’embargo est levé, selon votre choix. De plus, toutes les mises à jour de vos jeux de données dans le DFDR seront automatiquement reflétées dans votre enregistrement ORCID.
