FPTalks 2026, our annual numerics workshop, is Thursday Aug 6, 8am–noon Pacific, free over Zoom. Speakers are in and topics are landing:

• Jim Demmel (UC Berkeley): "Grading the BLAS"
• Paul Zimmermann (INRIA): proving CORE-MATH's binary64 functions correct
• Nick Sharp (NVIDIA): range analysis of neural surfaces
• Erin Carson (Charles University): mixed precision
• Bardia Zadeh (Imperial): direction-preserving number representations
