Forseti database purge command not working

Hi,

Due to the size of our forseti db reaching just over 1.4TB I thought it was about time for a purge to bring this down.

However when running the purge command instead of decreasing the size of the database I can clearly see a spike in the storage used going up to over 1.6TB. The command used was as per the documentation “forseti inventory purge <Retention_Day>“

Hopefully someone can advise why this purge is having the opposite effect intended.
