I have 2 questions

Do you recommend to update to V2 , or to create separate V2 forseti env before it will be release ?

What do we need to provide this ? :

You must be able to specify a G Suite Super Admin account and perform the Domain-wide Delegation steps. Have this information and be prepared to do this prior to starting the installation.

Our plans for the 2.0 beta

Starting right now, Release Candidate 1 (RC1) is available. For the coming 30 days, we hope you will test it as thoroughly as you can, and report your observations back to us - the good, the bad and the ugly. Afterwards, we will either decide to create a second Release Candidate (RC2) if necessary, or launch 2.0!

Release Candidate Beta Testing Caveats

As this is a beta and you’re testing a release candidate, the underlying data-model of Forseti can still change during this period. Data inventoried and violations created during this RC will not necessarily be compatible with the data generated and used in the final version.

Forseti Security 2.0 and thereafter

The target for the final release is April 2018. After release, we’ll continue to support  v1.x for a period of 90 days, but will no longer develop any features for it. We also won't be backporting any improvements into 1.x installations.

Hi Antoine,

Thank you for your question, and for trying out RC1.

The preferred way for RC1 is to do a fresh installation on a newly created project because it makes the clean up process easier in the future.

G suite super admin account is the same as the one that was used in version 1, it's the email address of the G Suite super admin. You can ask your G Suite Admin if you don't know which super admin email to use.
