In a couple of weeks will be the ESIP (Federation of Earth Science Information Partners) winter meeting.

I put in for a poster slot, but haven't figured out what to do.

I'm thinking that it might be a good chance to announce the pre-print, give a quick summary of the recommendations, and tell people to go to PeerJ to make comments.

Can anyone think of a good reason that I should *not* do this?

(I suspect that the AGU would have a cow if someone did anything like this, as they're really anal about 'pre-publication').
