some thoughts on the additions to the paper

I'm hoping to find a quiet place that I can call in from ....

but in talking to Ruth this morning, we realized that the additions seem to focus on the need for data citation, but are so biology/medical specific that they don't reflect some of the issues that are going on with other fields.

... that lack of coverage means some of the many reasons for going with the landing page approach are just missing:

1. the need to credit more people than can easily fit into the citation string

2. warnings about the size for data with excessive volumes

3. the ability to change the metadata, (add links, change contacts, etc.)
