Hi all,

A bit of news... Crossref has acquired and opened the Retraction Watch database for the community to use, and an agreement to grow it together. Good news for research integrity and open data! Check out the announcement at https://doi.org/10.13003/c23rw1d9

Note we'll have a community call on 27th September; all the details including how to access the data is linked in the post above.

Congrats re Crossref

I was recently reminded that sometimes reports on RW are not supported by evidence

I am currently preparing my own dataset to support the report here containing evidence not only of the plagiarism, but also of how the publisher and other institutions involved have not taken any action (before I reported to RW)
SUMMARY OF THE CASE

As I prepare the file for giving evidence of gross malpractice (to COPE?anyone else out there?)  I am creating two sections,
1. the evidence of the plagiarism itself
2. the correspondence I sent to the plagiarism to all involved (to which I received no replies!)
I am however not to sure to what extent publishing the names and email addresses of the felons involved can get me into trouble
I take this opportunity to start another thread, requesting input to the list on good practices
