Adelphi University Libraries is seeking a forward-thinking professional for the position of Collections and Open Strategies Librarian. This position provides leadership and direction for the development and management of the Libraries' collections in all formats, ensuring that the scope and quality of the resources which the Libraries hold or provide access to are appropriate to support the teaching and research mission of Adelphi University. In addition, this position will increase the impact and reach of Adelphi’s research and scholarship by supporting, innovating, and advancing open and sustainable models for knowledge generation, dissemination, and publishing. Reporting to the Dean of Libraries, the Collections and Open Strategies Librarian will direct the Library’s collections and open strategies program. The position will also serve as an internal resource for content licensing policy and negotiations. The University Library is strongly committed to providing professional development, mentoring, and learning opportunities to ensure the incumbent has the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed across the position’s responsibilities.

This Collections and Open Strategies Librarian is an Open Rank [Assistant/Associate/Full] Professor tenure track position.
