Greetings, F11
As a publisher I occasionally repost/reuse CCBY content of interest
I am puzzled by the ACM open access policy
JISC says
The agreement, which
runs for 3 years until 2025, enables all affiliated authors to publish
their research on a completely open access basis in the ACM Digital
Library by selecting a creative commons attribution licence (CC BY) for
article sharing and reuse.
and
The default choice for the corresponding author is to grant ACM the
non-exclusive permission to publish and to use a CC-BY license; however,
the author may also choose to grant ACM an exclusive license to
publish. If granting ACM the non-exclusive permission to publish, the
author may also choose other CC licenses.
ButWhen accessing open access articles on ACM digital library, howeer I cannot see the CCBY license (normally the CCBY license plate is included at the bottom of the article) Here for example
I do not see the open access/cc license plate
am I missing something?
read: FALSE?
Can anyone help to shed a light on this?
I can write to ACM, but this may apply to other articles/publishers as well
Thanks
PDM
