Dear RMA learning community members,

Remember to join us on Tuesday, August 28th from 3 pm - 4:15 pm EST for the final webinar for this learning community!

This webinar will feature Northeast based immigrant farmer organizations, including the Organization for Refugee and Immigrant Success (a program of Southern New Hampshire Services), Cultivating Community's New American Sustainable Agriculture Project in Maine, and the New Entry Sustainable Farming Project in MA. This webinar will include a lot of practical information on strategies and challenges in building the capacity of limited resource producers in addressing food safety and liability insurance issues and accessing local, institutional markets.

During the conference call, we will "digest" the information presented on the webinar, discuss how it relates to our experiences of working with limited resource producers, brainstorm other strategies to improve the overall effectiveness of our work with limited resource producers, and other related topics.
