IAFP 2014 is fast approaching! It's time to sign up for the studentmonitoring program! As the title implies, you actually get paid to attendpresentations!If you are attending the IAFP Annual Meeting this year, and you want toparticipate in the program, here's what you need to do: 1. Log in to the IAFP Annual meeting website to view the 2014 IAFP program. You can find that information here https://iafp.confex.com/iafp/2014/webprogram/programs.html 2. Pick up to 3 choices for sessions you wish to monitor. You can choose from *Symposia, Technical sessions, Roundtable session, Ivan Parkin Lecture, Poster Sessions or John Silliker Lecture*. 3. Check to see if your choices have not been chosen on the google doc below.
If they're open, sign up! If they're already taken, pick a new one!
Two people are responsible for monitoring each session.
4. E-mail your name, your choices, and contact information (e-mail and phone number!!!!!*) to me by *Friday July 11th *My e-mail is ampl...@purdue.edu. Be sure to put the Title and Session prefix in the e-mail
5. Assignments will be made on a first come, first serve basis.
6. Attend the session(s), help the speakers and moderators with set-up and any other tasks,
and keep the audience in order
7. Once the conference has concluded, you will receive a check in the mail
for *$65 Per person per session monitored!*
Once the list is populated, there will be more detailed and specific
instructions going out to participants of this program.
I would like to note that this year we will not be required write session summaries.
