Developing Food Safety Professionals PDG Call

Dear Developing Food Safety Professionals PDG Members,
It doesn’t seem possible that we are nearing the end of the second quarter, but it’s already time to start planning for the 2014 IAFP Annual Meeting. I’d like to hold a brief conference call to gather your input and plan for our next PDG meeting, Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, 9-11 am, Room 111-112.
Please join me for this planning call on Friday, June 20, 2014 @ 11 am ET (8 am PT). There will be a repeat session on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 @ 4 pm ET (1 pm PT), for those of you that can’t make the first call. Shortly, I’ll send everyone two calendar invites with the call-in number; since the same information will be covered, there is no need to attend both calls. Please see the attached agenda for more details.
I’m currently searching for one of our members to become our PDG Vice Chair. Please consider the criteria below when gaging your interest in this position. If you are interested, send me an email, and we’ll discuss the details.
PDG Vice Chair
Time Commitment: 2 Years as PDG Vice Chair (2014 & 15) and 2 Years as PDG Chairperson (2016 & 17).
Requirements: Must be an IAFP member and attend all IAFP Annual Meetings.
Vice Chair’s Responsibilities: Assists the Chairperson throughout the year with meetings, E-mail, conference calls, webinars, and other activities. Ensure that PDG Meeting Minutes are submitted to IAFP (due by Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1 pm). If possible, attend the Annual PDG Chairperson Breakfast (Monday, Aug. 4, 7-9 am).
