How to remove blank placeholders and collapse a list

Hi Daniel,

Please assist! I'd like to generate an email from a google form submission. I would like to select what going into the form from the google form submission for example: (The blue being the standard template, the red being the options (about 10 items) in the google form which I want to select from)

1. Passport Copy
2. Proof of residence

My question is how do I do that? I've considered using place holders but when I don't select an item in the google form it doesn't collapse the list. It just leaves it blank so I end up having blank spaces in my email.

Could you please share your template? Are you auto-populating a list or are you using if-else statements?

Hi,

Not sure how to auto populate the list. Definitely not using if-else statements. So basically when the email is generated, I only want the items that i've ticked to be in the email.

Hi Kevin,

in order to achieve what you want the simplest way is to trigger Ultradox right from the form.

I've added a building block (Load form data) so that you can trigger Ultradox on Form submissions.

I've switched on the trigger in the Form add-on.

You will then get a structured list of documents. I've then filtered the list to only keep checked values (Filter list block).

Then you can simply use the list-generation feature in Ultradox templates to create a list with the checked values.
