Modifying WAN interface Behavior

Hi,

We have requirements to allow OSPF/Ping on WAN interface, the current configuration doesn't allow OSPF and blocks all traffic on WAN interfaces

Can we allow OSPF on WAN one way or another and how to create a firewall that allows ping ?!
