Hi all,

I am trying to install all components of flexiWAN locally in order to modify the interconnection between the components via API with flexiManage.

I currently have the following components:

  • flexiAgent

  • flexiRouter

  • flexiRouterSB

  • flexiRouterVPP

I have a few questions:

  1. Does flexiRouter already include flexiRouterSB and flexiRouterVPP, or do I need to install them separately?

  2. Do I need to install both flexiRouter and flexiAgent, or all four components individually?

  3. Is there any documentation available for installing the open-source version of these components locally on a VM (Ubuntu 18.04)?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,
M.M

Hello Moise,

flexiRouter include flexiRouterVPP and flexiRouterSB of the matching versions.
We are using git submodules for that.
flexiAgent should be installed separately for the matching version.
No need to compile yourself, you can use our pre-built images available in our repository (check our documentation).

Best Regards,
flexiWAN team

Thanks for your feedback. So in this case I think we can add a custom plugin in vpp on the pre-built version? Rigjt? Else how can I add my custom plugin?

Thank you.
Best regards,
Moise
