[FINOS Community] Accelerating GenAI in Finance with Open Source

We are excited to announce a new FINOS project proposal. Please review the details at https://github.com/finos/community/issues/343.
Why This Project Matters: Generative AI (GenAI) and Open Source Software (OSS) are revolutionizing financial services by enhancing customer interactions, improving decision-making, and driving innovation. This project aims to leverage OSS frameworks to accelerate GenAI adoption while maintaining control over data and compliance.
Benefits to the Community:
- Full Ownership of Data: Securely integrate proprietary data into workflows without jeopardizing key assets.
- Model- and Vendor-Agnostic: Experiment with various AI models without being locked into a single vendor.
- Secure Integration: Self-host solutions and securely integrate with external AI models via APIs.
- Accelerated Innovation: Reduce development time and costs by leveraging shared advancements in OSS.
