[FINOS Community] Welcoming Olivier Poupeney, Field CTO, to FINOS

As we continue to invest in the growth of our Community and its impact in the industry, today, I’m excited to share some fantastic news about a familiar face within the FINOS community taking on a new and impactful role within our team.
I’m delighted to announce that Olivier Poupeney has joined the Linux Foundation as Field CTO for FINOS!
Many of you already know Olivier as a longstanding and passionate contributor to FINOS. Over the years, Olivier has worn many hats within our community, serving as a FINOS Governing Board Member, a Technical Oversight Committee (TOC) member, the Head FINOS Ambassador, and a key contributor to projects like FDC3. Olivier’s deep engagement and leadership have helped shape the community, and we are thrilled to welcome him in this new role.
As Field CTO, Olivier will initially focus on two critical areas:
- Own our developer relations efforts through and through, taking a leading role in scaling the footprint of activities like meetups, hackathons, tech sprints, developer tracks at OSFF and our contributor onramp. All of this in service of growing the health and the velocity of our projects.
- Leverage his extensive open source and financial services expertise to foster adoption of our projects in ever more impactful and business aligned product and service offerings in our industry. All of this in services of growing the impact and the overall sustainability of our ecosystem.
