[FINOS Community] [FINOS] Securities Reference Data initiative - Mapping identifiers

Dear FINOS Community, 

 

We’re excited to share an opportunity to get involved with the Securities Reference Data project, as we’re developing an open source cloud-based solution to map securities and issuer IDs. Doing this collaboratively will provide a way to validate the data and may boost the data quality (this deck provides more info). 

 

We’re working on a roadmap to kick off the design and development phase of the solution, and we’re looking for volunteers to join the project. In this initial phase, it would be particularly helpful to have reference data SMEs join the project. While we do not expect we’ll need commitment from developers until January/ February, please feel free to join now if you’re a developer. Regarding the time commitment, we expect that involvement in this project would not demand more than half a workday per week, including meeting attendance.
