Dear Community,
In fact,
our 4th annual Open Source Strategy Forum is just a little over a month away: this year it will be hosted virtually on November 12th and 13th jointly by FINOS and our new family at the Linux Foundation. Not only do we have an every year more
exciting line up (with keynotes to be announced in the next days, so make sure
you are on the lookout), but this year we can expect an even broader and more diverse representation from financial services and the tech industries as we joined forces with the LF.
From the feedback we received in
the previous years, this event has been consistently called out to be one of the most compelling and energetic in our industry, and truly the forum where our growing open source movement cemented itself and became a self sustaining open source Community. And while this year we won't be able to be physically in the same room, rest assured, as a Community, we plan to funnel all of that energy and passion in what we expect to be the biggest OSSF so far.
So make sure you
register today, we can't wait to see you there. Remember,
if you are a FINOS Member, the event is free of charge. So stay tuned as next week we'll provide discount codes to all of our Members, but in the meanwhile if you'd like to get a Member discount code, please reach out to os...@finos.org. I've also attached a calendar event so you won't have any excuse to miss one :P (or you can
click here to add this event if you are using Google Calendar).
Open source collaboration is now more important than ever, not just to drive innovation, but to continue building new connections and strengthen existing ones, especially as we live in unprecedented times where (at least physical) isolation is becoming the norm.
So I truly hope to see you all there.
Thank you for your continued contributions and have a great weekend!
Gab
