On July 8th we'll be organizing our inaugural
LF Europe Roadshow in Milan, focusing on the open source engagement in vertical industries. Given FINOS has a very advanced community we are focusing our first event on open source in finance and invite several members of the community / board to present. This is targeting a mixed exec / dev audience of about 150 folks, and the goal is to engage further the Italian (and South / West European community).
We have a 30m slot for Open Source Readiness - would anyone be interested to speak on behalf of the project? I would think this should be an easy task as the event is right after OSFF, so there should be plenty of fresh material both to intro OSR and then dive deeper on perhaps some specific issues, the story of your own open source maturity journey or to talk about related topics in the area such as GitProxy, licensing, cost-of-forks, InnerSource or any of the other topics we cover in our OSR meetings.
I will also be attending the event to talk on FDC3, but happy to help put together a talk or co-host if you'd be happier with that.
If you could let us know ASAP if you are available, and soon after I'll follow up to get your title / abstract / bio / pic. Also we are presenting in English - just in case your Italian is a little rusty :)
