We've had a wild ride in recent years as the FINOS Common Cloud Controls (CCC) project moved from an idea to an incubating project, and now it's nearly ready for production adoption.

The progress we've made is thanks to the tireless work of the project's maintainers and contributors! But none of the work would be possible without consistent direction and insight from the Steering Committee (SteerCo).

SteerCo members are responsible for many of the project's ideation and directional decisions, moving us toward a world where firms no longer need to duplicate the difficult work of defining technology-specific, threat-informed cybersecurity controls needed to keep our firms and customers safe.

Four of the seven SteerCo seats are up for re-election and will be selected by the project's core contributors according to the project's governance structureThe seats now open for election are the "reserved" seats which must be filled by a current employee of a financial services institution.

Special thanks to our outgoing members: Jon Meadows (Citi), Oli Bage (LSEG), Simon Zhang (BMO), and Vladimir Rabotka (Morgan Stanley)!

Nominations are now open, and will close on Monday, December 1st.

  1. Review the SteerCo's Charter to understand the group's responsibilities and mission.

  2. Submit your candidacy using the Self-Nomination Template for a guided workflow (Click "New Issue" in the top right of this page)
