The FDC3 Chrome Extension

Hi All,

The fdc3-desktop-agent project provides a Chrome extension that injects an FDC3 API implementation into web apps, which some of us have found useful as a lightweight implementation for testing.

However, it has fallen behind the standard (it supports FDC3 1.2) and recently stopped working (needs debug). The project has been partly superseded by the FDC3 Sail project, which is based on an Electron container rather than a browser extension, and therefore a somewhat different form factor.

Hence, the project is in need of new maintainers if it is to continue. If someone steps up to take over maintenance, they will receive some support from the FDC3 maintainers team. If not, the FDC3 maintainers will recommend to FINOS that the project is archived and will remove mention of it from the FDC3 website and repository in due course.
