Dear FINOS Community,

The FINOS Technical Oversight Committee is opening a new round of elections with two vacant seats! This is a fantastic opportunity to influence the direction of FINOS through your engagement.

Today we’re announcing the call for candidacies, starting on May 12th and closing on May 25th.

Per candidacy rules, if you’re either an active contributor of a FINOS project or an employee of a (FINOS) member organization, you can follow these simple steps to submit your candidacy:
  1. Review TOC governance for responsibilities and ways of working. Feel free to contact t...@lists.finos.org if you have any questions.
  2. Open a TOC GitHub issue with the following information:
    1. Title: [TOC Candidacy]
    2. Affiliation: <name of the company you work for - if not applicable, type “Independent”>
    3. Qualifications for candidacy: <member OR active contributor of project x,y,z OR both>
    4. Bio
    5. What impact do you hope to have on the ecosystem during your tenure as a TOC member?
Here the full timeline of these elections:
  • May 12th: Send notice to Governing Board, community, and maintainers
  • May 26th: Open vote with the Governing Board
  • June 9th: Open vote with the TOC
  • June 13th: Elections are complete
  • June 26th: Welcome new TOC members at OSFF London!
Cheers,

Eddie Knight
