Dear FINOS Community, 

Have you found your new online communities? As we continue to self isolate to keep ourselves, our families and our friends safe, it's important to keep our connections alive to remind us we're still part of a fantastic financial services industry joined together by FINOS and open source to drive innovation, change and engineering.  

This week at FINOS we're kicking off a new series of Wednesday virtual meetups starting this Wednesday April 1st at 11am ET / 4pm GMT with Nick Kolba who's presenting "Open Source Collaboration with FDC3 1.1". FINOS virtual meetups are an ideal opportunity to step into a world of online collaboration, learning and sharing. Simply register here to join Nick online this Wednesday

                  In its 2+ years as an open source organization, FDC3 has brought key financial firms together to set, and put into production, standards for application interoperability. As we approach the release of the FDC3 1.1 standard, this webinar will look at what's new in FDC3 and how we got there through a collaborative, open source approach.

In this talk, Petyo Ivanov, Glue42 Product Manager, will tell the story of how a traditional enterprise software vendor transitioned towards distributing their latest product version as an open source offering. The talk will describe the concerns, the unknowns and the discoveries the company made in this journey.
