Dear FINOS Community,

Join Gabriele Columbro, FINOS Executive Director, this Friday 4th March on Nasdaq TradeTalks at 12pm ET / 5pm GMT as Gab explores “open sourcing today’s modern economy and how FINOS fits into the ecosystem” with Jill Malandrino, Nasdaq Global Markets Reporter. Topics also include open source security.

Keep an eye on FINOS this week as we get ready to announce our first in-person Open Source in Finance, New York City meetup, currently targeting the week commencing March 14th 2022. More details of the confirmed date coming soon!

Submit your proposal to present at the FINOS Open Source in Finance Forum London and Open Source in Finance Forum New York. Join a diverse global community of open source thought leaders, shakers, and finance experts. Submit your proposal NOW to avoid disappointment.

The Financial Objects SIG needs participants from the FINOS Community with experience related to the XBRL standard, the ISO 20022 Mappings standard, and the ESG with OS-Climate standard. Please engage with GitHub issues XBRL, ISO 20022 Mappings, and ESG with OS-Climate to drive the conversation further.

Finally, FINOS is hiring a Senior Technical Architect. If you are passionate about open source, especially in the financial services technology landscape, and are a good fit for the role, apply here to join the awesome FINOS team.

Here's what's happening during the week of February 28, 2022 within the FINOS community.

Dear Community and cross-posting to o...@finos.org,

A quick reminder that tomorrow the OSR SIG is going to discuss and seek for your input on our 2022 Open Source Readiness roadmap - don't miss the meeting (details) below or if you can't make it, we'd love to please get your input directly on the Github discussion itself.

If you are an institution that is still working on its open source journey, we warmly recommend you to attend and to subscribe to osr+su...@finos.org to participate in the initiative. We know there's quite a few of you out there...so don't be shy!

Thanks and looking forward to chatting tomorrow!
