Dear FINOS Community,

This Week at FINOS we have a number of FINOS projects who are recruiting new contributors to their teams by adding Good First Issue and Help Wanted labels to their GitHub Issues. In particular, we'd like to highlight two features requested by Legend Studio who need an AWS Lambda engineer and ReactJS developer for "Add Filter Support for Relational Mapping" #175 and "Support Preview of Markdown for Text Element Editor" #129.

Good First Issues and Help Wanted on GitHub are an awesome way for banking developers, engineers and team members to get involved in FINOS projects and special interest groups. Take a look at Perspective, Symphony BDK for Java and Morphir .NET who are also looking for help. Please feel free to forward these opportunities to your friends and colleagues.

Finally, register here for the FINOS Virtual Meetup: FDC3 V1.2 on Wednesday 12th May at 10am ET / 3pm BSTFDC3 V1.2 is now available, improving interoperability on the financial desktop. Join the FDC3 project via Zoom to learn about new FDC3 features from firms driving advancements in the standard. Adaptive, Cosaic, and Glue42 will discuss the release of FDC3 v1.2 and how it is "Improving Interoperability on the Financial Desktop".

Here's what's happening in the week of May 10th, 2021 within the FINOS community. Please feel free to forward this email to colleagues and industry partners who you think will be interested in FINOS. If someone forwarded this email to you and you'd like to subscribe, please send a note to community...@finos.org and you'll be added to the mailing list.
