Release notes

FIDO Certification Conformance Tooling Release v1.8.0 includes updates to FIDO2 CTAP2.3 (NEW), CTAP2.1, CTAP2.0 and server conformance test modules:

 

  • Added CTAP2.3 testing module.
  • Added CCID reuse for HID transport.
  • Substantially reduced the number of authenticator resets (increasing testing speed).
  • Optimized tests to reuse cached getInfo when possible.
  • GetInfo snapshot now displays all returned fields (including ones not present in the specification).
  • Extended timeouts for devices with long touch.
  • Added shortcuts for test controls (see button tooltips).
  • Added notification if the user missed a UP check.
  • Fixed missing UP check, causing all subsequent tests to fail.
  • Added an option to run a subset of tests if the test block contains multiple sets.
  • Added tests for new extensions: hmac-secret-mc, largeBlob, pinComplexityPolicy, thirdPartyPayment.
  • CTAP2.0 deprecation notice for new certifications; exempt for Certification Maintenance (Delta and Derivative) of existing FIDO Certified products.
