Fido registration email Scope

I would like to seek clarification regarding the email address used for FIDO MDS registration and Passkey Git registration. Specifically, I need to understand the scope of this email and whether it will involve any critical actions or sensitive data.

In our organization, we use various types of emails for different purposes. If the process involves handling critical data or actions, I will need to request access to a restricted email. However, if it does not, I can proceed with using an existing email address.
