Hello,

I am developing a NFC FIDO2/U2F reader.
Uptill now, I have seen most of the NFC FIDO2/U2F keys developed using ISO 14443A as the NFC protocol.

Want to clarify if FIDO2/U2F works only for 14443A RF protocol ?
Does it also work on any of these to : 14443B, 15693, 18092 ??
Any NFC FIDO2/U2F security key using any of these ?

Hi Patel,

This mistake is on me, the specification is unclear as to what transport is expected.

The FIDO "NFC" specification is for devices that speak ISO/IEC 7816-4 over an ISO/IEC 14443 physical interface; i.e. device to which you can talk to with an ISO/IEC 18092 NFC-A/B reader.

Basically, an ISO 7816-4 contactless smartcard.

Best regards,
