I'm not sure if Google's App Engine conforms to all the things that
Tomcat requires, Prasanth:

"The demo is written on top of Google App Engine."

but, you can certainly try. You may have to modify some of the code to
remove any App Engine dependencies (if any) and substitute those
services from other components/libraries.

You could also try using this open-source FIDO server and run it on
Payara, which does use a web-container similar to Tomcat (if not Tomcat
itself):

https://github.com/strongkey/fido2

Since your project already works on Tomcat, you should be easily able to
deploy it on Payara; the FIDO server I referenced uses EJBs, so it will
not run on Tomcat.

Hope that helps.

Hey Prasanth.

You might want to take a look at the list of open source servers here: https://github.com/herrjemand/awesome-webauthn

And if you want to learn about FIDO protocol in depth, take a loot at my series of articles: https://medium.com/webauthnworks/webauthn-fido-series-content-page-4f9a187aa588

Hi Prasanth,

The demo project looks to me like just that - an example meant to be illustrative but not supported as something for other projects to rely on. You would likely have to copy the code and maintain it yourself.

java-webauthn-server, by contrast, IS designed as a software library and is actively supported and developed by Yubico, so you'll probably have better results with that. Please let us know if you encounter any problems with it.

/Emil
