The current spec at https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn/#sctn-apple-anonymous-attestation section 8.8 specifies the Apple Anonymous Attestation Statement Format. There is a new attestation type of `apple` introduced.
When reading https://fidoalliance.org/specs/fido-v2.0-rd-20180702/fido-server-v2.0-rd-20180702.html#attestation-formats it does not specify if Apple is required.
When reading https://www.iana.org/assignments/webauthn/webauthn.xhtml it is not mentioned at all.
What is the current status of Apple attestation?
