Hello everyone, Chrome currently supports Secure Payment Confirmation but only works with platform authenticators. Why doesn't it support cross-platform authenticators? Is it because cross-platform authenticators are less secure, or is there another reason? Are there any plans to support them, or will they never be supported? Thanks a lot!

Assuming this is basically doing the work of what was planned then scrapped with TXAuthSimple

1) maybe due to a distinct lack of a screen on FIDO sticks, and obviously the need to support an extra extension
2) the need for an extra field to be processed by the FIDO device to sign the transaction amount.

but maybe this will pave the way for something in that area making banking possible without the need for apptan or proprietary devices where each bank does its own shit.
