Hello All,

Has anybody dealt with a use case for implementing FIDO authentication on two different sub-domains?

I have two subdomains. Let's say x.mywebsite.com and y.mywebsite.com. Because of some legacy reason, I can't have a single subdomain.

Is there a way/workaround to set up single registration for both subdomain? Just curious because the domain is same and I want to avoid asking the user to register twice on respective subdomains.

Best Regards,
Manish

Hi Manish,

In the case of using WebAuthn, all you need to do is set `rp.id: "mywebsite.com"` [1] on both of your sites.
