Creating a Biometric Smart Card and FIDO2 Passkey Solution

Hi,
I am working with a biometric (fingerprint) smart card on java basis that can work as FIDO2 passkey hardware authentication device (more info here https://docsend.com/v/gg5rq/nuri-fundraising )
I am wondering how long it would take and what the process will be to get my card "FIDO verified".

What if we work with a company that has already a verified FIDO2 biometric device, and we want to add additional software (another applet) running next to it, does it make sense to have them apply for verification, or us (who writes the software for the applet) or the producer of the hardware (we are three parties, one for the biometric software and one card producer).
