In my current setup on Ubuntu 22.04, with an NFC reader (ACR1252U - supporting the FIDO NFC protocol specification), when attempting to register with a WebAuthn demo site using Chrome, the browser does not detect the FIDO Key (YubiKey 5 NFC) when brought close to the card reader.

Are there any successful cases from others in the Linux OS category that can be shared? What combinations are known to work under the Linux OS category? Thanks, Steven

On Linux generally fido runs from the browser similarly to windows 7 and 8 (or 10 prior to 1903)

And browsers so far have only been doing usb as far as i know, nfc Bluetooth and platform authenticators usually go over the OS which is case in later windows 10 releases, Windows 11, Android and ios.
