Use NFC authenticator to login Facebook account

Hi all,

Is Facebook blocking NFC security keys? 

I can't use my NFC security key with my facebook account.

I've also tried with several of my friends'accounts and got the same error.

Meanwhilee, we've been using those accounts on that phone for a very long time.

Thank you for your reply.

I have sent my question to Facebook but have not received a response yet. 

Therefore, I thought that someone who is developing an NFC authenticator might have useful information regarding my question (for example, any notification from Facebook that addresses this issue...).

I don't think you even can block nfc authenticators.

What they can do is ask for pin or resident key and android generally kicks out nfc from the options but that's just android doing android things

Hi Jisung,

NFC on Android does not support User Verification or Discoverable Credentials as of today. If FB is enforcing either, there is a chance NFC authenticator will not work.
