| Three Reasons to Show Up This Saturday on the Far South Side |

| This is what community looks like. This is what unity looks like.
ONE COMMUNITY. ONE PEOPLE. ONE VOICE. Three events. One day. One community.
I'm asking you to do three things: 1. SHARE this email and the event flyers on your platforms 2. SHOW UP even if it's just for an hour 3. BRING SOMEONE with you who needs to be in community
The Far South Side doesn't get enough recognition for the work being done here. Let's show Chicago, and each other, what we're made of. |

| On May 16, 2026, Chicago comes together on the Far South Side for the 103rd Street Takeover — a community walk, run, ride, and festival celebrating the people, places, and possibilities of the 103rd Street corridor.
The finish line culminates in a community festival at Julian High School and Culture Canvas Café & Art Gallery, creating space to connect, celebrate, and continue building a culture of togetherness. Vendor Space is still available! |
