Hello!

I wanted to remind you (or let you know!) that two Major Taylor Trail-related plans are available for review on the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development's website.

Since 2022, the Department of Planning and Development (DPD) has been working on two plans centering on the Major Taylor Trail: One that addresses land uses around the trail in West Pullman, and one cataloging the planned improvements and recommendations for the entirety of the trail itself.

Both plans were introduced at the June Chicago Plan Commission meeting.

We hope to have the plans adopted at the August Chicago Plan Commission meeting on August 21, 2025.

🚩There is still time to give feedback and share your comments!  Please review both plans at:

Feel free to reach out to me, Erika Sellke, at Erika....@cityofchicago.org.  Thank you!
