Subject: Sailing Camp Registration and Information

Read more about Sailing and our other programs here!

Our Sailing Camp offers an engaging, active introduction to Lake Michigan! A day in Sailing Camp consists of several of the following fun activities: Swimming, sailing on our Keelboats (big sailboats that cannot tip over), and marine-based STEM education lessons when the weather does not allow for outdoor activities. This is a great option for youth who may be new to boating and want to have a great time on the water with friends! 31st Street Harbor also includes swimming lessons! Your child does not need to know how to swim to participate.

Camp Dates:

July 20-24

Organization:

Camp location:

31st Street Harbor

Method of Transportation:

Buses will be provided

Start / End Time:

Camp starts at about 9 and goes until about 2 with a break for lunch

Registration:

Here is the link to register your child for programs. Information on your specific camp details are above. Please let me or your organization know if you have any questions or concerns. Registration is limited, so please fill this out ASAP to secure your spot!

Waivers:

The waiver is embedded in the registration page. This is mandatory for participation.

YOUTH WHO SHOW UP WITHOUT A SIGNED WAIVER AND REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE.

Behavior expectations:

Our number one priority is the physical and mental safety of all students. We have a two-strike policy to ensure that. The first strike is a warning and a conversation with the participant and their adult; if the behavior happens again, then the participant will not be allowed back. We are working around sailboats with motors, water, and docks, so we do not allow any pushing, punching, running, etc. We also follow the same expectations that your organization does, so all of those apply as well. If you have any questions or would like more details, please let me know!
