A Year Worth Celebrating! Teacher Appreciation As we highlight what an amazing year it has been for the Parent Mentor Program, it would not be possible without the Teachers that opened their classroom doors to the Parent Mentors. Each school Coordinator chose one teacher to highlight due to their willingness to work with the parent mentors, their guidance, and commitment to education.  Jennifer Bobo from Mt. Vernon Kiesha Lewis from Marcus Garvey Justyna Mykos from Esmond Parent Mentors Rock! Truly a year worth celebrating! Our Parent Mentors Rock and they deserve to be celebrated! This year we culminated the South Side Help Center Parent Mentor Program at Pearl's Place.  We're Hiring! Coach J's Corner This is my final farewell to you. It has been an honor to serve as the Community Parent Organizer. I look forward to continuing to serve wherever God places me. In the meantime, I will return to my passion of creating authentic, fun "third" spaces for teens in Chicago. A "third" space is a space for teens between home and school for them to safely gather and build relationships.  Let's just say "it's going to be a LiT summer. I hope you all have a great summer!
