Field Day

We have a number of volunteers to assist with Field Day activities.

We will be operating in class 1A (single transmitter club station) and will have a GOTA (Get On The Air) station available for the public.  Since we are operating 1A, we will not get points for the GOTA station.   We will have one of the large military towers up with the TH5 and wire antennas for use with the phone station.  The smaller military tower that is part of the trailer's equipment will be used for the GOTA station.

If you would like to take a shift operating the phone station, please contact Henry or me.

Killer Mouse Electric Company will be providing the generator, a grill, and making breakfast on Sunday morning.

Henry is organizing the food for the Saturday afternoon cookout, along with the members who are bringing food.  

Bring a chair if you plan on attending the cookout.

Field Day operation begins at 2PM on Saturday, 25 June and continues through the night, ending at 2PM on Sunday, 26 June.

Setup work starts at 0730 on Saturday, 25 June.
