All:
As you are surely aware, we will be getting a significant snow storm over the next couple of days. This is forecasted to be a long duration storm, starting as early as tomorrow mid-morning and lasting through Monday afternoon/evening. Watch your local weather to keep updated. I just threw this list together as a reminder for everyone. We have been through this many times before, but its just a handy reminder. These is not a definitive lists, but are useful guides. This is just a few key items, but everyone’s specific needs may be different.

If you need to use a portable generator, make sure you operate it safely, follow manufacturer’s instructions and in operate it in a WELL VENTILATED AREA. Do not operate indoors or in an enclosed garage! Carbon monoxide is an odorless, colorless gas and it can kill!

Just a few checklist items below, as well as an attached preparedness list to keep handy for now and in the future.
>    Be sure you test all alternative power sources ahead of time (Solar, Batteries, Generators, Etc.)
>    Test Flashlights
>    Portable Radio for local news/weather
>    Extra Batteries for radios and flashlights
>    Charge cell phones, tablets and computers
>    Charge up portable ham radios, any extra batteries and standby radio batteries
>    Food and medicines as needed
>    Extra blankets, if needed
>    Keep the house warm, in anticipation of possible power outages and you heating system may not work.

All:
I made a correction to the Falmouth GMRS Repeater PL Tone (Oops, Sorry!) and also added the new Chatham 2-Meter repeater to the 2M list.

I listed several other ham repeaters and WinLink Nodes here in Barnstable County for your reference list. Enjoy and stay safe!
