[Fairhaven 40R Questions and Answers]

1. Sign In to Google Groups

• Sign In: If you’re not already signed in, click on "Sign In" in the top right corner and log in with your Google account. 
• If you do not have a Google account but would still like to ask a question feel free to email the admin team at Fairha...@fairhaven-ma.gov or stop by the Town Hall and place your question in the bin labeled 40R questions.

2. Create a New Topic or Respond to an Existing One.

• New Topic: To start a new discussion, click on the "New Conversation" button on the top left.
• Reply to a Topic: To respond to an existing topic, open the topic by clicking on its title and then click on "Reply."

4. Compose Your Post

• Subject: If you’re creating a new topic, enter a descriptive subject in the "Subject" field. This helps other members understand the topic of your post.
• Message: Write your message in the main text box. Be clear and concise. Use proper formatting to make your post easy to read.
  • You can use basic text formatting tools available in the editor to bold, italicize, or underline text, create lists, and add links.

5. Review and Post

• Review Your Post: Double-check your message for any errors or important points you might have missed.
• Post: When you’re ready, click on the "Post" button to publish your message to the group.

6. Follow Up

• Check Responses: Keep an eye on the group for any replies to your post. Engaging with responses helps foster discussion and builds community.
• Reply as Needed: If members reply to your topic, respond to their comments to keep the conversation going.
