Global hand washing day

Hello everyone
15th October is global hand washing day . As simple as it may seem,hand washing is the most crucial step towards preventing childhood illnesses .
Hand washing when done correctly with all the steps has proven to decrease the incidence of many preventable diseases like pneumonia,diarrhoea,typhoid, hepatitis and many other respiratory illnesses.
Healthy child is the most basic requirement for a healthy education hence,
I would encourage all of you to play an ad by UNICEF or GOI highlighting the steps of hand washing and it's importance in the class.
It won't take more than five minutes but the impact will be seen for years to come. Hand washing should become a reflexive act by every child of our country .
* Hand washing has to be done for atleast 2 minutes with soap and water
* when to wash your hands?
-Before preparing meal
-after going to shauchalay(toilet)
- before eating food
- after cleaning utensils, floors/rooms etc
-after sneezing/coughing
-after handling garbage
