Good morning, everyone! I was going over the open accessibility bugs over the weekend, and one or two involve the need to indicate that a button's action is in progress as soon as the user clicks it, since the page redirect / reload can be very slow in some cases.

I've been looking over various graphics, and I wanted to get your feedback. I'd prefer the ones that minimize movement, since that can be very distracting, and I'd like to avoid changing the height of the button unexpectedly. (The width will inevitably change, but that's okay.)

I'd like to pick one and standardize this button behavior in our (forever-in-progress) style guide.

I'm leaning toward #6, which I think would fit well with the other static icons we already use:

Let me know what you think!

(Mind you, for a personal project I'd be picking #87...)

I agree with #6 or #80. These types of indicators tend to both annoy me and give me hope. The busier they are, the more I dislike them. These are nice and understandable and simple (and not frenetic like some of the others).

+1 for #6. The pace is much better.

I got semi-hypnotized on that page! Yes, #6 is good for this project, though.
