Below is another good link. This one is for online symbology. Understand there are 4 levels of damage/operational reference symbols. I am not pushing for a specific solution, however, standardized map symbols can be useful to all organizations using a common operating picture or crowdmap.

This could be a real basis for mapping. And as we are quite at the beginning of an important development of disaster communication, it would be great to impliment unitary symbols in mapping.
