USAID and State Department channels will be opening up with Embassies serving as key hubs of the network. Governmental assistance will flow from that point. If you can speak for those organizations please share available information and status.

In a real scenario, critical information from the UN and international response bodies will likely flow from the Virtual OSOCC. The homepage can be found here http://vosocc.unocha.org/

as in Japan, teams would flow to V OSOCC then begin the traditional closed door conversations with govt.  The teams then greenlight themselves on V OSOCC.  The probable time for OSOCC being setup with boots on the ground is 48 hours.  Our team at this point would be enroute or on location prior to that point after coordinating with Embassy.

If communications are lost (as happened with Japan) the embassy is a good staging point for Go/No Go questions.

Working to avoid a problem we experienced massively in Haiti.

When discussing airplanes- we need to know how to offload your planes.

What size/type of aircraft do you have offloading supplies?

What size pallets do you have?

What forklifts are available?

Full planes that we can't unload are of no use and actually harm operations.

I haven't seen any reliable intel come in saying that there is a "workable airstrip" for large cargo aircraft of a... C-130 size or so. Anyone with reliable intel please advise and update database accordingly.

Christine- very useful intel.
Can you put these into the database here? https://sites.google.com/a/eushare.org/x24test/critical-transportation-items-for-x24europe-test-not-real
We can leave status blank until we can get vetted feedback, but at least we get them up there...

Luke,

I don’t know if this will help you but here are a few of the airports in the area near the impact.  I do not have information on their status at this time.  Do you need assistance with getting contact information from any of these airports?

Luke, Don't know how to address this, but it's really hard to figure out the latest post in this thread. For example, on my screen, the oldest clearly are at the top, and your discussion with Christine is about 2/3 of the way down the thread at 5 min old, but then the posts start getting older, so the last post is about an hour old.  The volume is low enough so it's still manageable, but one can imaging losing track of what's current.

Lin agreed- think about our email threads in every event- total overload, but this is even less manageable I think simply because of the message stream and how it is locked in.
That is the main reason I created these 4 forms for logistics group so that people could document things rather than trying to go back and find actionable intel...don't really know a workaround at this point. But we do need to address that later on.

I am responding for Christine.  The o...@eushare.org address is bouncing messages so she is unable to respond.  The spreadsheet that you recommended at https://sites.google.com/a/eushare.org/x24test/critical-transportation-items-for-x24europe-test-not-real  does not allow us to edit to add the items.

Also

Can someone please assist, please notify USGS.gov their url for Montenegro seismological observatory is wrong.  NOTE THIS IS NOT A FICTITIOUS REPORT 'INJECT' FOR THE DRILL - THE URL IS WRONG.
