Storage team,

Perhaps one of you has some insight into an issue we are seeing in one of our shared test setups. First noted by Vasya and confirmed by me volumes fail to attach but only in 1 of 2 clusters. Here is a paste of request track info showing a successful attach of volume and instance in zone "one" and a failed attach for volume and instance in zone "two": http://fpaste.org/162322/30948914/raw/

This is a netapp backed multi-cluster multi-node setup.
[CLC WS UFS] 10.111.1.41
[CC00/SC00] 10.111.1.61
[CC01/SC01] 10.111.1.135
[NC00] 10.111.1.175 10.111.5.88
[NC01] 10.111.5.101 10.111.5.151

Thanks.

Sorry folks, my bad. "two.storage.ncpaths" was not set. Nothing to see here. Move along.

If ncpaths/scpaths are not configured, the value of sanhost will be used. sanhost is a management access point for the storage unit and may not guarantee data access which is what was happening in this case.
