Dead of Winter Contest Judging

Hi All!

Thank you so much for accepting the invitation to judge our Dead of Winter Exhibit for Frozen Dead Guy Days. Our artists dropped off work this weekend and we got everything hung on Monday. We are so excited about all of the art that we received and how fun, colorful, cold, dead, beautiful and creative these artists are. 

Ole Sykes, who has worked at our gallery for well over a decade, is going to be coordinating with you to set up a day and time for you all to collaborate, so be looking for a follow up email from him. If you have any dates/times that don’t work please let him know right away.

Here are some of the awards we have said we will do but we are also open to changing as you see fit:

• Best in Show
• Most Frozen Dead Guy
• Cold, Dead and Beautiful
• Best Use of Dark Humor
• Best Weird / Most Unexpected
• Honorable Mention
• People's Choice (customers will vote)

We also have been granted $1000 from Visit Estes Park to accompany some of the top awards. Ole can give you more details on this when you meet. 

We are so honored to be part of the Frozen Dead Guy Days Festival and we appreciate your being part of this as well! Thank you so much!

Hello All,

I wanted to throw out a couple of possible dates that we could  meet to do the judging for Frozen Dead Guys:

Friday March 13 - 9:30 a.m at Aspen and Evergreen or

Thursday March 19 - 9:30 a.m at Aspen and Evergreen

I thought we could spend a half hour of so going over categories and prize money and then just spend some time doing the actual judging. The Gallery opens at 11:00 so we should wrap it up by then.
