Members of the Estes Valley Fire Protetion District Board Sandra Smith, Jeff Robbins, Scott Dorman, and Jon Smith discussed the importance of the Colorado Open Recrods Act during a work session Monday night. The board also took action to hire GMP Consultants, a public sector executive search and recruitment firm, to help the Distirct inits search for a new fire chief. The District hopes to have a new chief hired and in place by late summer or early fall. Board member Ryan Leahy attended the meeting remotely.
